Abstract |
To study the effect of pathological meteosensitivity on progression of arterial hypertension (AH) in patients with AH, the inhabitants of the North. The study included 196 patients with AH I-II stage (aged 20–64 years, mean age –43,9 ± 0,5 years), the inhabitants of the North of RF. A comprehensive clinical and laboratory, electrocardiographic and biochemical examination, assessment of severity of clinical manifestations of the disease and the level of pathological meteosensitivity using the computer program "SKREENMED" (state reg. N 970035 from 29.01.1997) was car-ried out. With the growth of pathological meteosensitivity the increased frequency of registering of complaints and clinical manifestations of АН and electrocardiographic signs suggesting worsening of the dysfunction of the cardiovascular system were re-vealed. It has been shown that the increased pathological meteosensitivity of an or-ganism is associated with the changes in lipid and carbonate metabolism, important in the development of АН. Pathological meteosensitivity of an organism should be considered as another important risk factor for progression of AH in extreme meteorological and geophysical conditions of the North.
